Shana Lord's athletic career as an Elite level Gymnast in Canada and Dance scholarship student at Edge Performing Arts Center prepared her for her career in acrobatics performing with many artists and entities including the ever popular, Cirque du Soleil. Her quest for knowledge of movement led her to Pilates. This type of training and efficient movement study quickly become her passion. Shana has paralleled her 25 years of performing with teaching Pilates. Her studies included STOTT, BASI and The Pilates Center.  Her Group exercise and Personal training certifications helped to create the link of conventional exercise to Pilates based fitnes. No longer on the stage, Shana focusses on development. From young athletes, reaching their high level athletic goals at Aerial Warehouse to all ages at Melrose Pilates. Discovering smart movement techniques for everyone remains her goal in Pilates.
