Mike Felbinger has always had a calling to help others be, and feel the best they can within their own body. A natural athlete, Mike has been involved in sports and
his entire life. He was introduced to Pilates in 1999 as a form dance conditioning. Mike is a popular Master Pilates teacher, Spin, and Run instructor in the Los Angeles area. He offers innovative, challenging classes, privates, and workshops that are infused with encouragement, fun, and intelligent focus. As an avid runner/marathoner, Mike has also developed a Pilates regimen specifically to condition the runner's body. With a passion for training individuals to meet their individual goals, Mike excels at designing programs that are specified to overcome unique challenges. His sessions are upbeat, energetic, and positive. Mike is known for leaving his clients inspired and energized.
Alyssa DiMarco was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She received her Bachelors degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Kinesiology with a focus in Fitness and Human Performance. Her certification with NASM as a Corrective Exercise Specialist sparked her interest in Pilates. Working as a personal trainer overseeing clients with injuries or special considerations, Alyssa decided to move further into educating herself in movement therapy. She trained through STOTT PILATES and become an instructor. Having been a dancer herself from a young age, Alyssa enjoys guiding all levels of Pilates’ students to a healthier balanced body. Alyssa is passionate about training and helping others maintain a quality of life through movement.
Shana Lord started her career in athletics as an Elite Gymnast in Canada. Her love of Dance awarded her a scholarship at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles were she futher prepared for her career in acrobatics. Shana then performed with many artists and entities including the ever popular, Cirque du Soleil. Her quest for knowledge of movement led her to Pilates. Efficient movement study quickly become her passion. Shana has paralleled her 25 years of performing with teaching Pilates in a chiropractic and studio setting. Her studies included STOTT, BASI and The Pilates Center. Shana's Group exercise and Personal training certifications helped her create the link
conventional exercisers to Pilates-based fitness choices. No longer on the stage, she focuses on program development & discovering smart movement for all ages and level. She is a Co-Founder of Aerial Warehouse and partner at Melrose
Renee Larsen Engmyr is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She trained from a young age in all areas of dance as well as gymnastics. She studied both dance and psychology receiving her BA from The University of California Irvine. From there she moved to San Diego and became a founding member of Eveoke Dance Theatre with whom she spent 4 years performing and working as their rehearsal assistant. She danced for over 5 years with the nationally and internationally touring acrobatic modern dance company Diavolo Dance Theatre and currently serves as their Production Manager and Technical Director. Additionally she spent 10 years performing in a live action stunt show at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Throughout her career as a professional entertainer, which spans well over a decade, Renee has never stopped teaching: Be it dance, gymnastics, group fitness classes, or pilates, she brings a natural talent and passion for teaching.
